Occupational Physiotherapy Services
We specialise in on-site and off-site (at our practice) physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation.
Lost time to ill health and accidents (LTIA) cost £12 billion over the 35 million days lost in 2004/5.* Occupational Physiotherapy has been shown to have demonstrable effects in reducing both the incidence and overall number of days lost to ill health and accidents in the workplace.
As well as on and off-site treatment we offer the following occupational physiotherapy services:
- - Pre-Employment Musculoskeletal Screening
- - VDU and Workstation Setup Advice
- - Manual Handling & Back Care Classes
- - Return to Work & Work Hardening Programmes
We have provided occupational physiotherapy services to the Foyle Group as part of a coordinated programme aimed at reducing LTIA across their group meat processing plants in Northern Ireland and Donegal. The first year of the programme was very successful and saw a reduction in LTIA, as well as a reduction in the number and cost of insurance and litigation claims.
